The longer trails traverse forests and meadows and in turn offer different views of Devils Tower. Rock climbing Devils Tower is a popular sport and is known as one of the premier crack climbing areas in North America.

You can easily get to know more about Devils Tower by signing up for a ranger program, an interpretive talk or an evening program at the Visitor Center. The Park is open all year. Park entrance fees for seven days are very, very reasonable for a vehicle pass. Costs for a pass if a pedestrian, bicycle or motorcycle is usually half the price of a vehicle. There is very limited Class A parking with some Class C parking. We highly recommend calling ahead for information on parking and if there are any large groups expected. You see there are certain times of the year when this place is a mad house with either motorcyclists or vacationers.
The closer you get to the entrance the tighter the road becomes and there is no place to turn around.
