Inflight information

Please take a moment to read this page during your flight

Smoking
All our flights are non-smoking, in line with international policy. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the aircraft – including the toilets, which are fitted with smoke detectors. It is an offence to smoke on-board.

Dress and behaviour
We do ask that your dress sense and behaviour are respectable throughout the flight. Customers should wear shirts at all times and also refrain from wearing items of swimwear in the cabin. MyTravel Airways asks you to consider the safety and welfare of everyone on-board. With this in mind, unreasonable behaviour will not be tolerated. The cabin crew have the right to limit, or refuse to serve, alcohol. Only drinks purchased on-board may be consumed during the flight.

Toilets
The toilets are situated at the front and towards the rear of each aircraft. The A330 has additional toilets downstairs. There are also baby changing and disabled facilities on every aircraft. Your cabin crew will be happy to point out which toilets have special facilities. Nappies and sanitary towels should be placed in the waste bins provided. For hygiene and safety reasons, please ensure you wear footwear when using the toilet facilities.

In-flight service
We can offer special meals if notified in advance. We strive to avoid nuts and nut derivatives, but some products may contain traces of nuts, so any customer with an intolerance to nuts should exercise caution. We have a fully licensed bar, and, if you would like wine with your meal, please order this with your pre-meal drinks. Customers may only consume alcohol served by cabin crew from the on-board bar. It is not permitted to open and drink duty-free purchases while on-board. It is a criminal offence to be drunk on-board.

Hand luggage
Your hand luggage must be placed in the overhead lockers or, if there is no room, under the seat in front of you. Remember that items should not obstruct aisles or emergency exits. Take care when opening overhead lockers, as items may have moved and may fall out causing injury to yourself or to others. Remember to take everything with you when you leave the aircraft.

Disabled customers
Your crew will do their utmost to make all customers feel as comfortable and as welcome as possible on this flight. Hopefully, we will already know about any special requirements you may have. If not, and this is your outbound flight, please advise a member of your cabin crew, so we can make any preparations for your return journey.

Your health on-board
If at any time you feel unwell during the flight, please let your cabin crew know. All of our cabin crew are trained in first aid. Pressure changes in the cabin can make your ears feel uncomfortable – this may be relieved by swallowing hard or by yawning. Alternatively, hold your nose and blow gently with your mouth closed.

Baby care
Your cabin crew will be pleased to help you prepare infant meals, and nappy-changing facilities are available in the toilets. Please put any used nappies in the waste bin provided – not in the toilet.

Electronic equipment
Use of radios is STRICTLY PROHIBITED on-board. Personal CD, DVD, MP3, mini disc players, personal stereos, electronic games, handheld games, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) and laptop computers may only be used when the seat belt sign is off, and never during take-off and landing. Mobile telephones, including those with 'flight safe' mode should be switched off at all times on-board the aircraft. Customers travelling on A330 aircraft must stow away TV screens and footrests for take-off and landing.

Seatbelts
You must wear your seatbelt during take-off and landing – and, ideally, throughout your journey. There are special infant seatbelts for the under-twos. If you would like to sleep during the flight, please ensure that your seatbelt is fastened and visible to your cabin crew, so we may check it without waking you.
