1 The palette
What This is an absolute must for girls on the go. The Dior Detective Chic lip palette has a fantastic selection of shades for that perfect pout. The blingtastic wallet-style packaging looks great in your handbag, too.
The look Six wearable shades range from pastel pink and rose through to a deep, rich cerise. It comes with a good-quality lip brush and there’s a decent-sized mirror in the lid.
Verdict A versatile lip palette that allows you to change your make-up look every day of the week. I wore all the shades individually and mixed them together, too, to achieve the exact shade I wanted.
2 The polish
What A ‘French’ is the A-lister’s favourite manicure to keep nails looking gorgeous, and the Estée Lauder Pure Color French Manicure Set has everything you need to get a salon-professional look. It has a white shade to define tips, a pink to accentuate nail beds, and a fast-drying top coat to prevent chipping.
The look A French manicure is a great spring look for nails – especially if you’re bored of winter’s inky shades. Remember to paint toes, too, for a fabulous finish.
Verdict I thought I’d struggle with the application but my nails looked salon-perfect, even after a week. The shades are spot-on – the white isn’t too bright and the pink isn’t too pastel, making the whole effect look very natural and, excuse the pun, polished.
3 The skin kit
What If your skin is calling out an SOS then the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Essentials kit is your rescue. Along with the supermodels’ favourite skin protectant, Eight Hour Cream, it also comes with a hand cream and lip balm.
The look It’s no wonder this award-winning formula has such a cult celebrity following. I’ve found no end of uses for the skin protectant – my favourite is to slick it over my eyelids and cheeks to give them a natural sheen. My hands and lips are feeling the love too – no dry bits in sight.
Verdict More, more, more – these products are my new skin staples. I cannot and will not live without them!
4 The body balm
What For skin to look and feel delicious it needs a little help, and moisturising and massage aren’t the only ways to achieve it. This beautiful balm feels as luxurious as it looks. Benefit Bathina So Fine glides over skin with the help of a smoothing puff applicator.
The look Skin glistens with a satin-looking sheen and feels rich to the touch. Plus the retro-floral scent makes you smell glamorous too.
Verdict It’s really easy to get skin looking little-black-dress hot with this decadent-as-a-dressing-table body balm. r
